Chanson de Vie Dance Studio

Chanson de Vie Troupe and Intermediate Troupe will be performing at Avant Garden (411 Westheimer) this coming Tuesday (March 9th).

I (Cahira) will also be performing a solo there.

Show starts at 8:30 (doors open at 8), and the cost is $5 per person.

Come see us and all the other lovely dancers that Almaazah will have there!

So, Houston is getting its very own comics/gaming/sci-fi/fantasy/steampunk/etc. convention…and the Chanson de Vie Troupe will be performing!

I’ll also be teaching some class/workshops there.

We’ll also have a booth set up in the vendor area where we’ll be selling costumes, hip wraps, hip sashes, hair adornments, and other fun dance-wear.

So, we have been having lots of fun at the studio recently! All of our classes are growing, and we’ve been having lots of fun in class.

We’re still having classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Yoga Lola (see our Schedule page for times and a link to Lola’s website).

We will be having a performance at Coffee Oasis in Seabrook on October 23rd at 7:30pm.

We will be performing in the Bellydance Garden at Avant Garden on November 10th at 8:30pm.

Also, we’re taking input about our classes, studio situation, and several other topics in a poll that I’ve set up. If you would be interested in participating in the poll, email me (cahira(at)chansondevie.com) and ask to be sent the link for the poll. Also, please include if you are a current student, former student, or prospective student (we have a different poll for each group so that the questions are appropriately tailored).

We will be having another of our student shows at Greek Deli and Cafe.  Come join us for great food and dancing.

Where:  Greek Deli (located on El Camino Real just north of Bay Area and between Hancock Fabric and Mr. Gatti’s Pizza)

When:  November 22 from 7pm to 9pm

Other details:  The restaurant is BYOB and right around the corner from a nice Spec’s.

In our continuing student series, we’re having another student show at Greek Deli and Cafe on November 22, 2008.

Come watch the students and teachers of Chanson de Vie and watch us perform while you enjoy the best roasted potatoes (and other Greek offerings like gyros and pastitsio) in the Clear Lake area.
